About Bank
History of the Bank :
The District Cooperative Central Bank Ltd., Eluru was registered on 18-11-1918 and commenced its business from 31-11-1918. The Bank was reorganised in the year 1987 on introduction of single window delivery system. 8 PADBs were merged with the DCCB. The area of operation of the Bank confined to the entire West Godavari District with a net work of 33 branches. 258 PACS are affiliated to the Bank with an average of 3 villages per PACS (state average 12).
Mission of the Bank:
“ TO CATER THE AGRICULTURAL AND NON-AGRICULTURAL CREDIT NEEDS OF THE FARMERS OF THE DISTRICT FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF RURAL ECONOMY AND ALSO TO RENDER BANKING SERVICES OF THE RURAL AS WELL AS URBAN COMMUNITY”
CROPS:
Paddy is main crop grown both in Khariff and Rabi seasons. The Jower and Maize followed by paddy and millets. The commercial crops like Sugarcane, Chilies, Cotton and Groundnut also grown in the District. The upland area of the District, offers excellent scope for Horticulture Development. Oil palm crop is being grounded on large scale in the District.
